about island massage company
Island Massage Company is owned by Kate Reed and Dave Borror. We are both long-term St. John residents and true island kids at heart. I am a conservation biologist. When not blending oils, I work with the animals at Coral World Ocean Park. Dave is a licensed massage therapist who loves his time in the garden. He is even raising honey bees and chickens for eggs.
Island Massage Company started because I made a hobby of blending massage oils for Dave’s clients. But I soon found that I could do much more using the therapeutic qualities of essential oils and other natural ingredients. And the more research I did, the more I realized I wanted to. Many commercial cosmetics are truly bad for us. They are full of potentially toxic chemicals. So I set about creating a line of products that were safe and effective. I hope that you enjoy them as much as we do.
